NEWBERRY COUNTY (WACH) - "He grabbed me on my left breast and I jerked away and said no sir that's not on the menu," said the waitress.
A Newberry County waitress, who did not want to be identified, recalls every detail of her final customer Friday night.
"He was at the table and he told me to come over and get the tip. He had a ten dollar bill on the table so I went to pick the tip up off of the table and whenever I did is when he grabbed me on my left breast," said the woman.
The quick thinking waitress went running out the door and that's when she says he grabbed her wrist.
The Newberry woman had already dialed 911 and said she was going to press send and that's when she says the man jumped into his truck.
According to the victim, the man she says attacked her left and drove back by the restaurant twice screaming names at her as he rode by.
"The problem we have is that general area is adjacent to Lake Murray and there's a lot of traffic in and out of there," said Newberry County Sheriff Lee Foster.
Foster says the restaurant is very close to neighboring Lexington County and with the lake close by, the man they're looking for could be long gone.
Foster has released the sketch statewide to law enforcement and is asking for the communities help locating this person.
Foster says the suspect is believed to be a white man between the ages of 40 and 60. He is about 5' 10" with short brown hair and has a goatee. He was described as being of medium build and wore a gray or blue shirt and tight blue jeans. He also says the man was driving a late 90's model GMC Extended cab pickup.
Anyone that may recognize the suspect is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
