      WANTED: Man breaks into store for cigarettes

      COLUMBIA (WACH)-Richland County sheriff's deputies are looking for a burglary suspect.

      According to Sheriff Leon Lott, around 12:30 a.m Thursday, July 10, 2014, a man broke into the Food Fair at 8275 Garners Ferry Road.

      The suspect was captured on video surveillance throwing an object through the front glass window and breaking in.

      Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the communityâ??s assistance identifying a suspect wanted for burglary. The Sheriff states that once the suspect entered, he stole 35 cartons of Newport cigarettes.

      The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5'10" tall, 180-200 punds, wearing a blue baseball cap, blue t-shirt, dark jeans and tan work boots.
