50 bodies discovered 60 miles south of Baghdad

BAGHDAD (AP) -- There are increasing concerns over possible sectarian killings in Iraq.

Officials say they've discovered bodies of 50 men in a remote area in a predominantly Shiite city 60 miles south of Baghdad.

Officials say the bodies found in Hillah had gunshot wounds and many of the victims were blindfolded and their hands were tied. Police say it appears the men are between 25 and 40 and were killed a few days earlier and dumped.
