Police reports obtained by a newspaper show two suspects in the fatal shooting of a University of Michigan medical school student were arrested in South Carolina. The arrests happened Tuesday in North Charleston and Sumter. The men arrested were 20 and 21.
Ann Arbor police on Thursday announced the arrests of three people. Authorities haven't released their names and charges haven't been filed.
Student Paul DeWolf was found fatally shot at an off-campus medical fraternity July 24. The Schoolcraft native was attending Michigan on an Air Force scholarship. The South Carolina reports say an Ann Arbor taxi cab card and University of Michigan cup were found at the 20-year-old man's home.
Ann Arbor police say the suspects had no previous connection to DeWolf.
