USC's A'ja Wilson named USA Today's Player of the Year

We're nearing the end of the basketball season as the NCAA tournament is right around the corner and that can only mean one thing: end of the season awards are starting to roll in.

South Carolina's A'ja Wilson has already has some distinct honors this year, including becoming the first player ever to win the SEC player of the year three times.

Today, Wilson received the biggest honor yet.

USA Today has named the South Carolina star its player of the year. It is the first time she has received the honor.
