Lattimore tackles Williams-Brice Stadium

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) - Former Gamecock standout Marcus Lattimore's road to recovery is now running through Williams-Brice Stadium.

According to a YouTube video posted on Monday, the NFL rookie was running the stadium steps during a shoot for a new Under Armour commercial.

The video, entitled "Latt says what knee surgery", was posted by Lattimore's stepfather, Vernon Smith, Jr.

The San Francisco 49ers selected Lattimore in the fourth round of this past spring's NFL draft despite the fact he recovering from his second major knee surgery in as many years.

Lattimore became the darling of the 2013 NFL draft after his rapid recovery from knee surgery following a gruesome knee injury suffered during a game against Tennessee back in October.

The former Gamecock runningback isn't expected to be ready for NFL training camp later this summer, but will very likely get back on the field at some point in the 2013 season.

Lattimore is slated to hold a youth football camp later this month at A.C. Flora High School.
