HOUSTON (WACH/AP) -- Anyone who's seen Jadeveon Clowney's monster tackle against Michigan in the Outback Bowl in 2013 won't be surprised to learn what the No. 1 overall pick likes best about football.
He says: "Big hits. I'm all about hitting. I don't care who it is. I just like to make hits." It was one of many things that came up when Clowney fielded questions from reporters on Friday.
That's what the Houston Texans are counting on after passing on a quarterback to select the South Carolina defensive end Thursday night.
He was introduced Friday in Houston, joining a team that features 2012 Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt.
New Houston coach Bill O'Brien, who's taking over a team that hasn't won since Sept. 15, says he admired many things about Clowney. But the coach says the best thing about him is that he loves winning.
