WACH Fox's Corey Miller nominated for SC Football Hall of Fame

(WACH) - WACH FOX's own Corey Miller has been nominated for the 2017 SC Football Hall of Fame.

Miller was a standout linebacker at USC in the late 80's and was drafted by the New York Giants in the 6th round of the NFL Draft.

He played eight seasons with Giants and was a member of their Super Bowl XXV champion team. Miller ended his career with the Vikings in 1999 and has since been in sports media, including hosting a radio sports talk show and his current position at WACH FOX.

Other notable nominees include four-time Pro Bowler Peter Boulware, multiple Super Bowl champion tight end Dwight Clark, former Clemson standout Woody Dantzler, all-pro running back with the Carolina Panthers Stephen Davis, former USC quarterback and current voice of the Gamecocks Todd Ellis, Camden native and former first round pick Vonnie Holliday, member of the NFL's 90's All-Decade Team Levon Kirkland, SC State standout and former All-Pro pass rusher Robert Porcher and USC's all time-wins leader coach Steve Spurrier.
