Solid Orange: Clemson Alums Get Ready for Super Bowl 51
On this week's episode of "Solid Orange," host Courtney King is joined by former Tiger safety Robert Carswell and Kevin McCrarey of Sports Talk SC as they discuss all things Clemson. Some of the topics the panel discusses includes:
-Clemson's new coaches: After Dan Brooks announced his retirement and former defense end coach Marion Hobby also left the program, it is official that Mickey Conn and Todd Bates will fill their shoes. Conn will coach the safeties and Bates will coach the defensive line.
-Clemson football's 2017 schedule: The Tigers will open their season at home versus Kent State while some of their other big matchups are at home versus Auburn, on the road at Louisville, on the road at Virginia Tech, at home versus Florida State, and on the road at South Carolina.
-Super Bowl 51: Some former Clemson Tigers play for the Atlanta Falcons and are going to Houston, Texas to compete against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 51.
-Zion Williamson: the high school standout discusses whether or not he's considering Clemson as an option for college basketball.
-Clemson men's basketball: The team is on a big losing streak after suffering an 82-81 loss against Virginia Tech.
-Clemson baseball: The team has a preseason ranking of 10th by Baseball America and will have their first practice on Friday at 2:30 pm.
