Broyles keeps USC softball alive in postseason

Audrey Broyles and South Carolina stayed alive in the NCAA Tournament with a 5-1 win over Houston on Saturday.

Austin, TX (WACH)- The Gamecocks softball team scored five runs in the fifth inning and Audrey Broyles pitched a complete game as USC stayed alive with a 5-1 win over Houston in the NCAA Tournament on Saturday.

Broyles gave up just four hits and one unearned run to earn the win and keep USC's hopes at the second round afloat.

The Gamecocks will play host Texas on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. and will have to defeat the Longhorns twice to advance.
