CLEMSON, S.C. (WACH) - The Clemson Tigers dropped game one of the team's scheduled doubleheader with Maryland by a score of 7-2. Game two has been rained out.
The No. 18 Tigers dropped to 30-15 and 15-10 in the ACC with the loss, while Maryland improved to 28-21 and 9-16 in conference play.
The two teams are scheduled to make up game two of the series on Sunday at 1:00 pm. The forecast calls for rain on Sunday, therefore an evaluation of the playing surface and weather conditions will be made Sunday morning.
Game three of the series is scheduled for Monday at 7:00 pm on ESPNU.
