Clemson will matchup with Notre Dame on the gridiron in 2015

CLEMSON (WACH)- For the first time in 34 years, Clemson will play Notre Dame in football. The Tigers and Fighting Irish will play at Memorial Stadium in Clemson, SC in 2015, announced by the ACC on Friday. The date of the game has not yet been announced.

The teams last met on November 17, 1979 when Clemson defeated the Irish 16-10 in South Bend. This will be just the third meeting between the two schools.

Notre Dame will begin playing in the ACC in all sports in 2013-14.
