COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) - Wednesday is National Signing Day. It is an event each and every year in this country.
But, this season the drama that generally accompanies where some of the best high school football players will sign on the dotted line to play their college ball, is absent. At least in the Palmetto State.
Saluda defensive lineman Dexter Wideman is the one wild-card for South Carolina, as he is making a signing day decision on whether he will choose the Gamecocks of Florida State.
Other than that, South Carolina and Clemson have firmed up their classes, for the most part, and both look to be heading for another set of top-25 recruiting classes.
