COLUMBIA (WACH)- No. 13 Florida scored four runs in the eighth inning to rally over No. 4 South Carolina 6-5 and win the series on Sunday at Carolina Stadium. The Gamecocks fall to 28-7 overall and 8-7 in the SEC.
The Gamecocks led 4-2 heading into the eighth, but the Gators quickly loaded the bases and strung together four runs to give them the lead for good.
Wil Crowe (6-2) suffered the loss giving up five runs on 10 hits with four strikeouts.
USC returns to action Tuesday when they host Charleston Southern. First pitch is set for 7 p.m.
