      Nashville, TN (WACH)- No. 17 South Carolina scored four runs in the eighth inning to take down No. 18 Vanderbilt 6-3 and clinch the series. The Gamecocks improve to 42-14 overall and 18-12 in the SEC.

      Wil Crowe (7-3) pitched seven-plus innings and allowed just three runs on four hits and tied a career-high with nine strikeouts.

      The Gamecocks earned the No. 4 seed in the SEC Tournament and will face the winner of Mississippi State and Georgia on Wednesday night.
