Gamecock Women's Basketball appreciates Dak Prescott's enthusiasm at Final Four
DALLAS, TX (WACH)- Several celebrities and high profile athletes came to American Airlines Center to support the Women's Final Four. However, Dallas Cowboy's Quarterback Dak Prescott 'broke the internet' for his reactions to watching his Alma Mater, Mississippi State, take down UConn.
"I think that was huge not only for Mississippi State but for Women's basketball. He's a football player that's coming back to a Women's Final Four to watch his Alma Mater and that's pretty cool. It's something you don't see a lot but I hope it's something we need to see more of," said South Carolina guard Kaela Davis.
Freshman guard Tyasha Harris also enjoyed Prescott's cheering, "There's a big future for us. It's amazing he came out and supported and everyone else who came out and supported like Russell Wilson... It's amazing... I'm at a loss of words for it because I know everyone's trying to progress.."
"I was actually excited about that because it's very rare that you see men professional players doing stuff like that.. So I think that was actually cool," said Senior guard Bianca Cuevas-Moore.
