CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina, Southern Cal and defending Atlantic Coast Conference champ Miami will play in the 2014 Charleston Classic.
Tournament organizers announced six of the eight participants in the field, played each season at TD Arena. The other teams are Akron, Cornell and Penn State. The final two teams will be announced later.
Miami, Penn State and South Carolina each returning to the tournament for a second time.
Miami won the 2009 event.
This year's tournament started Thursday and features No. 19 New Mexico, Clemson and Georgia.
