Pittsburgh, PA (WACH)- Daniel Gossett tossed a three-hit shutout and the Tigers scored all three of their runs in the first inning as they clinched the series over Pittsburgh 3-0 on Saturday.
The Tigers (24-14, 12-7 ACC) loaded the bases in the first inning and plated all the runs they would need.
Gossett (5-0) allowed just three hits and struck out seven. It was the second shutout of his career.
Clemson goes for the sweep Sunday at noon.
