No. 3 Clemson focused only on Boston College

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) -- Clemson coach Dabo Swinney will ensure his third-ranked Tigers keep their focus on Boston College this Saturday and not look ahead to their Atlantic Coast Conference showdown with Florida State in two weeks.

Swinney believes it's natural for the Tigers (5-0, 3-0 ACC) to get caught up in the building excitement on campus for a game almost two weeks out. The league announced the Clemson-Florida State contest Oct. 19 would get ABC's top TV slot of the weekend with an 8 p.m. start. That means ESPN College GameDay will likely make a return trip to Clemson after starting the season here before the Tigers 38-35 win over Georgia.

But first up is this week's game against Boston College (3-2, 1-1), which has played the Tigers tough since joining the ACC.
