COLUMBIA (WACH)- Max Schrock hit a game-tying two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning and Brison Celek delivered a walk-off RBI single in the 10th to cap No. 1 South Carolina's comeback over No. 21 Ole Miss Saturday 5-4 in game two of their doubleheader.
Schrock, who wasn't in the lineup, was inserted by Chad Holbrook in the ninth with a man on and two outs. A few pitches later, he blasted the run-tying shot into a sea of garnet in right field. In the 10th, Celek went opposite field to score Grayson Greiner and knot the series for USC.
Joel Seddon (1-0) picked up his first win of the season.
