      Tigers clinch series over Wake Forest

      Clemson pounded out 14 hits and took the series with a 7-4 win over Wake Forest in game two of their doubleheader Sunday. The Tigers improved to 12-6 overall and 5-1 in ACC play.

      Winston Salem, N.C. (WACH)- Clemson pounded out 14 hits and took the series with a 7-4 win over Wake Forest in game two of their doubleheader Sunday. The Tigers improved to 12-6 overall and 5-1 in ACC play.

      Tyler Krieger hit his first home run of his career.

      Jake Long (2-0) picked up the win pitching 5.1 innings allowing just three hits and struck out four. Matt Campbell earned his third save of the season.

      Clemson continues their road trip with a two-game set at Georgia Southern starting Tuesday. First pitch is at 6 p.m.
