COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) - Former South Carolina catcher Grayson Greiner and Clemson pitcher Daniel Gossett have been named All-Americans by Perfect Game Baseball.
Greiner earned second-team honors while Gossett was named to the third team.
Greiner hit .311 for the Gamecocks this season while hammering out eight home runs and driving in a team-high 50 runs. He signed with the Detroit Tigers last week, who drafted him in the third round of the Major League Baseball draft earlier this month.
Greiner was also named an All-American by Baseball America last week.
Gossett, an all-ACC selection, finished the season with a 7-2 record, 1.93 ERA and 107 strikeouts. Gossett signed with the Oakland after the organizations made him the 65th pick overall in the MLB draft.
