Dana Fulton’s interest in weather started at a very young age: she loved telling her younger brother and sister about the current weather conditions. Growing up in Illinois, she’s lived through “all the seasons in one day.” Understanding and respecting Mother Nature, while still being fascinated by every major event, is second nature.

She was drawn into the world of broadcasting in high school. In college, she started her first job in news, as an Associate Producer and fill-in MMJ at News 25 Peoria, IL. She joined WACH from our sister station in Eugene, OR.

She is an alumnae of Western Illinois University and Mississippi State University. Though she’s now in SEC country, she still cheers for Oregon—Go Ducks!

When she is not in the studio, she can often be found in the gym. She is very passionate about fitness. She also loves any outdoor adventure: from hiking in the Pisgah National Forest to paddleboarding on Lake Murray. Don’t ever hesitate to say “Hi” if you see her out an about!
