Lena Pringle joined the WACH FOX News in December of 2016 as a multi-media journalist. Lena is the live morning reporter for Good Day Columbia.
After receiving her Bachelors of Arts in Communication and Spanish, Lena traveled to the frozen tundra also known as Syracuse, NY to further her education in journalism. She received her Masters of Arts in broadcast and digital journalism with an emphasis in sports communication.
Before joining the WACH FOX News Team – Lena was covering stories in the Nation’s Capital for two stations in Shreveport, Louisiana and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was able to interview congressmen, Washington D.C. advocates, and members of several different religious, ethnic, and socioeconomic communities. While in Washington, D.C. Lena covered stories about the Black Lives Matter movement, the CARA Act, social media’s impact on communities, the Congressional Black Caucus, Zika virus, and White House Kid Chefs. Lena also worked as a freelance sports reporter for Community Television Network in Prince George County, Maryland. She covered the Washington Nationals and several college football teams in the DMV area.
Her journalism career has taken her to Syracuse, NY, Washington D.C., Louisiana and now back to the Midlands. She is excited to be working back in a place where she calls home. She enjoys covering hard news, entertainment, sports, and everything in between.
Lena enjoys fitness, food, fashion, hiking, sports, traveling, attending festivals and music. When she’s not at work she is most likely eating, cooking, working out, shopping, or traveling. Speaking of traveling - Lena traveled to Spain, France, New Zealand, and Panama.
