Unseasonably cool temperatures and rain for your weekend
Sat, 02 Aug 2014 03:49:53 GMT —
The first weekend of August will feel nothing like a typical August weekend for the Midlands.
A stalled front along our coast, and an area of low pressure, are providing a great deal of moisture for cloudy and rainy conditions.
Areas along and east of I-95 have a better chance for seeing a few isolated thunderstorms both Saturday and Sunday.
The current weather pattern we are experiencing is not associated with Tropical Storm Bertha.
Tropical Storm Bertha will bring the potential for rip currents to the South Carolina coast next week, but that is about all we expect based off of current forecast models, which are available to view in the TropicsWACH section of our weather page.
Stay ahead of any weather this weekend by downloading the free SkyWACH Weather App from the App Store on your iPhone, or Google Play for your Android.
Make sure you â??WACHâ?? WACH Fox News at 10:00 on Saturday and Sunday for the most up-to-date information on Tropical Storm Bertha, and the soggy weather we are experiencing in the Midlands.
