Sumter County deputies continue investigation into "suspicious fires" on Foxville Road.{ } (WACH){p}{/p}

Sumter county firefighters and deputies were called to 285 Foxville Road on Monday where they found Ford van engulfed in flames.

Once deputies arrived to the scene, they found two bodies inside the vehicle.

WACH FOX News obtained the incident report that shows how three people, who were at a nearby hunting club down the road, heard loud pops and explosions. They then called 911.

The car was towed to Public Works for further investigation into these "suspicious fires." Authorities say that the car was registered in Richland County, and therefore the Richland County Sheriff's Department and SLED are also a part of the investigation.

At this time, no arrests have been made. The Sumter County Coroner's office has not released the identification of the victims.

The male victim died from blunt force trauma and the woman was shot.

The suspect(s) is still on the loose. If you have information on the case, you can make an anonymous tip to Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
