SUMTER, SC (WACH) -- This week Wilson Hall hosted Cardinal Newman in the first of back-to-back SCISA showdowns on Sonic Friday Night Rivals.

Despite a festive atmosphere for the Baron's homecoming, Cardinal Newman came in looking to play spoiler.

The Cardinal's offense had little problem moving the ball and some key defensive stops kept the Baron's from getting back into the game as Cardinal Newman won 35-13.
