Food Friday: Clean Eatz bringing a healthy alternative to Lexington

Clean Eatz

LEXINGTON, SC (WACH) -- Clean Eatz in Lexington first open in the area about a year ago when the Avillas saw a need for healthy eating in their community.

The restaurant chain first started in North Carolina by a group of competitive body builders.

Meals are either grilled or baked…never fried and menu items are around the 500 calories mark.

Owner Alex Avilla showed WACH Fox’s Natalie Parsons how to make their Arnold Wrap, Clean Eatz Nachos, Build a Burger and Build a Bowl for this week's Food Friday presented by US Food's CHEF'STORE.

Clean Eatz has plans to expand in our area with a Forest Acres location already in the works.

Be sure to check out their website or Facebook page for more information about Clean Eatz as well as if you are interested in meal plans or what they call “properly portioned sized meals with a balance of protein, carbs and fats.”
