SC National Guard continues to protect U.S. soil post 9/11

Thirteen years ago the way Americans lived changed forever. This after the 9/11 terror attacks.

COLUMBIA (WACH) --- The nation pauses today to remember the terror attacks on U.S soil, thirteen years ago.

Since that tragic day, several agencies, first responders and different branches of the military helping to protect our nation from any potential attacks.

Major General Bob Livingston talks about the role The South Carolina National Guard has had in wake of the global war on terror.

The South Carolina National Guard also making a memorial video that highlights the heroes who have lost their lives since the 9-11 terror attacks.

These soldiers were deployed in support of combat operations after the attack on American soil.
