COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) -- President Donald Trump tweeted his "full endorsement" for Governor Henry McMaster ahead of Tuesday's primary election.
President Trump posted about Gov. McMaster on Saturday afternoon, talking about the current governor being "with [President Trump] from the beginning." He also discussed Gov. McMaster's stance on crime, borders, and the military.
Gov. McMaster responded to the endorsement, saying that he and President Trump "will keep South Carolina winning, winning, winning!"

He is featured on the Republican ballot, along with current Lieutenant Governor Kevin Bryant, former Lt. Gov. Yancey McGill, former public health chief Catherine Templeton, and Greenville businessman John Warren.
Voting on June 12 runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
