Detecting Breast Cancer at an Early Age

COLUMBIA, SC (WACH) " When you think of the average breast cancer patient, you usually don TMt think about a young woman in her twenties with no family history. For one Midlands woman, that became very true just two days before her wedding.

According to the Young Survivors Coalition, it TMs estimated more than 250,000 women diagnosed with breast cancer at age 40 or younger are living in the U.S. More than 13,000 young women will be diagnosed this year.
