RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WACH) - Several bridges on Bluff Road are closed in Richland County.

Black Swamp Bridge, Cedar Creek Bridge and Dry Branch Bridge along Bluff Road were shut down Thursday as SCDOT crews continue to monitor the structures for damage related to October's floods.

During the inspections, certified divers evaluated the bridges underwater. SCDOT will request federal assistance to aid in the cost of repairs as the damage is believed to be from the historic floods.

Traffic is being detoured to Old Bluff Road.
