Candidates for Richland Two board make their pitch

COLUMBIA, SC (WACH)- The Richland Two Black Parents Association hosted a public forum Tuesday night for parents to hear from candidates running for three seats on the school board.

Parents were able to ask the 9 of the 12 candidates questions about issues that are important to them.

The topics ranged from preventing last year's Spring Valley incident, minority business contracts, and getting parents involved in the school system.

Pandora Entzminger, a parent of 3 children who attend Richland Two schools says, "Regardless of whether or not you have a child or don't have a child- you're going to be impacted by who our students our kids, become."

Voters will determine the three new members on November 8th.
