1 of 3 suspects identified in vehicle theft at Midlands gas station


COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH)-- The Columbia Police Department have identified a man accused of stealing a car last weekend.

On Thursday, the department released video of three unidentified men wanted in connection with a stolen vehicle investigation.

One of the men has been identified as 24-year-old Dandre Olds.

On Saturday, just after 1 p.m. a gold 2005 Ford Explore was left unattended and idling at the Quick Trip convenience store on North Beltline Boulevard.

The suspect who was wearing a camouflage jacket and an orange shirt can be seen getting out of a vehicle, occupied by the two other suspects, and stealing the SUV.

Both vehicles were seen leaving the store at the same time.

When found, Olds will be charged with grand larceny.

An arrest warrant has been entered into the National Crime Information Center database.
