14 hurt after deck collapses in Rogue Water Tap House

Police are at the of a partial building collapse in Savannah, Ga. (WTGS)


According to the Savannah Fire Department, 14 people were taken to local hospitals after a 12-foot deck collapsed onto an open-air seating area at Rogue Water Tap House.

The fire department is working with the bar's management to make sure the rest of the building is safe for a modified reopening.


Police say 13 people were hurt, two of them seriously, when a deck collapsed inside the building that houses Rogue Water Tap House.

Six victims were taken to Memorial Hospital; the other seven were taken to St. Joseph's/Candler Hospital for treatment.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTGS) - Fox 28 is on the scene of a building collapse near City Market in Downtown Savannah.

It happened at the building that houses the Rogue Water Tap House and Lulu's Chocolate Bar.

Our reporter is on scene. She says she has seen stretchers but as of now no word on the number of people injured.
