Columbia police release pictures of persons of interest in Five Points shooting

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) - The Columbia Police Department has released pictures of persons of interests related to the early Sunday morning shooting in Five Points.

Officers believe the men in the pictures have "material information" related to the shooting, which began right before 2 a.m.

CPD officers on foot patrol responded to gunshots from Greene and Harden streets. They located two victims in the 2000 block of Greene Street and rendered aid until EMS arrived.

A third victim was located at the intersection of Greene and Pavillion streets.

CPD says two victims are in critical condition, while the other victim is stable. All three men are not from the Columbia area. One victim is a 23-year-old from Raleigh, North Carolina, who attends St. Augustine University. Another victim, a 22-year-old, is stationed at Shaw Air Force Base. The last victim is a 20-year-old from Winnsboro.

CPD continues to investigate the incident.
