Entertainment WACH: ACM Awards & Coachella buzz plus your Midland Happenings!

Kicking this week's "Entertainment WACH" off at it's new time at 8:45 a.m., our Natalie Parsons and HOT 103.9's Beasy Baybie dive right into your music news.

It's one of the biggest nights in country music and the ACM Awards did not disappoint on Sunday!

What was the most memorable moment of the evening?

When Carrie Underwood took the stage to perform her new single "Cry Pretty."

It was her very first performance since she took a fall back in November breaking one of her wrists and giving her a nasty face injury requiring nearly 50-stitches.

Courtesy of our social media partner Banjo, we can see a posting Underwood made leading up to her big performance saying how excited she is for the ACMs and also giving fans a glimpse of her "new face."

Did you see much of a different? Because we didn't! (Take a look for yourself by viewing the attached picture gallery.)

Also happening over the weekend was Coachella in California and Cardi B did not let her growing baby bump slow her down during her performance.

The sassy rapper's Coachella debut involved lots of twerking and high energy showing exactly why so many love her.

Beyonce also performed at this year's festival.

Many were surprised that her bigger than life performance didn't turn the lights out afterwards like her 2013 Super Bowl Half-Time show, but she definitely "wowed" the crowd especially with the Destiny's Child reunion on-stage with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
