Hit and run victim undergoes eighth surgery; SCHP searching for other driver
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) —
A woman who was injured in a local hit and run is being treated at an Augusta hospital for various injuries, according to her sister.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol say the wreck occurred on October 11 around 12:50 a.m. A Dodge pickup truck and a moped collided on SC 277, two miles north of Columbia.
The impact of the crash ejected Cindy Latorre, the driver of the moped. The driver of the truck fled the scene.
