Husband, wife charged after drugs found in Lexington home, deputies say
LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WACH) – Narcotics agents seized a large quantity of methamphetamine and marijuana from a married couple at a Leesville home last week, according to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.
Thirty-four-year-old Nicholas Rattray and 25-year-old Kaitlin Rattray were arrested on multiple charges at the house Wednesday, Nov. 28, according to warrants.
Nicholas Rattray is charged with trafficking meth, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute hydrocodone, possession of a stolen pistol and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Kaitlin Rattray is charged with possession of a stolen pistol, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana and possession with intent to distribute hydrocodone.
“A tip led investigators to the home in the 400 block of Gantt Mill Road,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “Agents seized about 600 grams of meth, 500 grams of marijuana, two firearms and two vehicles. One of the firearms seized had been reported as stolen.”
Agents also seized nearly $11,000 in cash from the house, according to Koon.
The couple have been released from the Lexington County Detention Center after posting bond.
