Kiddie prom to roll out the red carpet at baseball park

COLUMBIA, SC (WACH) --- It might be summertime, but prom is right around the corner!

The Kiddie Prom is making its way to Spirit Communications Park.

The event is the brainchild of Jamal Stroud.

Stroud founded Big Homie, Lil Homie mentoring group after working at DJJ.

This event is just one of the many events his mentoring group puts on for young people.

He stopped by Good Day Columbia to talk about the night out for kids.
