SUMTER COUNTY, SC (WACH) – A man wanted for a fatal shooting in Sumter County has been arrested, according to the Sumter Police Department.
Kalvin Epps was arrested Thursday without incident, according to police.
Epps is accused of shooting and killing 54-year-old Marcus Brown Tuesday, Oct. 30 on South Salem Street.
Epps is also tied to other shootings in the west and south Sumter areas over the last several weeks. Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries during those shootings, according to police.
Epps also shot into a home on Silver Street about an hour before Brown was killed, according to police. Epps could also be tied to another incident that happened Wednesday.
