Missing Sumter man found, taken to hospital for treatment

    SUMTER COUNTY, SC (WACH) – Officers found Milligan a little after 3:30 p.m. Friday and took him to a local hospital for treatment.


    Officers need your help finding a man missing from Sumter, according to the Sumter Police Department.

    Twenty-nine-year-old Stephen Milligan was last seen by family members around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday when he left his home at the Birkdale Circle Apartments.

    He was reported missing Thursday when family members learned he didn’t show up for a scheduled appointment, according to police. Milligan also suffers from a condition that could warrant urgent medical attention.

    Milligan has dreads and was wearing jeans when he was driving a black 2004 Lexus ES with S.C. tag NRD 329, according to the department.
