Suspects sought in armed robberies at three NE Columbia gas stations

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH)—The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is currently seeking the public’s assistance locating three men wanted in connection with three armed robberies.

Deputies say, on Sunday a man entered the Corner Pantry on Clemson Road showed his handgun to the clerk and demanded money.

The man reportedly fled the area with cash and five packages of cigars.

On Monday two male suspects approached the store clerk at the BP Gas Station on the 8400 block of Two Notch. The clerk was outside on break when the suspects pulled out a handgun and forced the clerk inside of the store to the cash register.

A third male suspect followed not far behind. The men stole cash and boxes of cigars before fleeing the area.

Also on Monday, three suspects entered the Circle K on Longtown Road armed and stole cash and one box of cigars.

Investigators believe that the man in Sunday's armed robbery may be one of the three suspects wanted in connection with armed robberies at the BP and Circle K gas stations as well.

Anyone with any information about the suspects or the incidents is urged to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
