Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office seek murder suspect after deadly home invasion
Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Service is looking for 22-year-old Rodney Darnell wade.
He's the 7th suspect identified in a deadly shooting at this home on Geneva Rd. in Orangeburg.
Rodney Darnell wade faces charges for murder, armed robbery, burglary and weapon possession.
Deputies say he is wanted in the October 27th shooting death of Julio Abarca Minero. The Coroner says Minero died from a gunshot to the head.
Deputies have already arrested six people in this case. Steven Bradley, Brandon Culbreath and Daryl Sutton are all charged with murder. Breanna Fludd, Tamika Lopez and Whitney Robinson face charges of accessory before and after the fact.
I spoke to the victim's roommate shortly after the home invasion and he said he believes he's alive because he fired at the suspects and they ran away. Since our interview, the roommate who wants to remain anonymous, has moved out of state. He says the trauma of the incident shook him deeply and felt it was best for him to move and start over in a new place.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office or crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
