Police: Man wanted for shooting at two officers at Harbison Walmart, arrested

    UPDATE: The man police say shot at officers and stole a car from the Walmart on Harbison Boulevard is in custody.

    One man is now wanted after he shot at two police officers at a Walmart Tuesday night, according to the Columbia Police Department.

    Stanley Ray Lubkin is accused of stealing a car and shooting at two Columbia Police officers at the Harbison Walmart sometime before 8 p.m., according to the department. The officers weren’t injured, however.

    Lubkin allegedly stole a Dodge Ram quad cab with South Carolina veteran’s tag 37725 and a flat bed trailer attached as he left the Walmart.

    Police say Lubkin should be considered armed and dangerous and once he’s arrested, he’ll be charged with attempted murder and grand larceny.
