S.C. State president appointed to President Trump's HBCU Board of Advisors
ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WACH) – The President of South Carolina State University has just earned a high honor from President Donald Trump.
President Trump announced Friday his intent to appoint James E. Clark to the President’s Board of Advisors on Historically Black Colleges and Universities, according to the university.
Clark became the 12th president of S.C. State on July 1, 2016. Clark is also a native of Columbia and a MIT graduate.
Clark has also been the vice president of a division of AT&T and has worked for Gillette, Exxon and General Electric.
