SUMTER, S.C. (WACH) —
The US Marshals Service along with local Jacksonville, Fla. authorities captured a wanted South Carolina man late Wednesday night.
Demetrius Alexander Brown was wanted out of Sumter county as he was suspect in the shooting death of 34-year-old Shermine Pack.
The shooting occurred around 4:30 p.m. Saturday at an auto repair shot on South Pike Road. Upon arrival, deputies found Pack who had suffered from multiple gunshot wounds.
Pack was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

Brown will appear in court Thursday afternoon when he will let authorities know whether or not he plans to fight extradition back to South Carolina.
He will face charges of murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
