Three in custody after high speed chase and burglary in Georgetown

Suspect identified in Midlands high school burglary

CAMDEN, SC (WACH)-- Three Georgetown men are in custody after a high-speed chase of a vehicle that was involved in the burglary of two Camden Dollar General stores.

According to the Kershaw County Sheriff's Office the burglaries happened on October 18th, 2017.

Deputies took 44-year-old Jermaine Ford, 36-year-old, Qhaun Miller and 30-year-old Chadwick Miller into custody after the chase near the intersection of Jefferson Davis Highway and Haile street in Camden.

“KCSO deputies responded and handled this incident in a professional manner. These individuals came into Kershaw County thinking they could get away with committing crimes and they were wrong.” said Kershaw County Captain Jack Rushing.

The Department stated in a press release that, "Ford and Qhaun Miller have an extensive arrest record that includes burglary, safecracking and grand larceny. Chadwick Miller has no arrest record."
