USC Fraternity raises money for brother with cancer

    USC Fraternity softball game

The Sigma Alpha Epsilon chapter at USC hosted the second annual Simone Softball Classic in order to raise money for their brother, David Simone's medical bills.

David Simone was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma and had to move home to Virginia in order to continue his treatment. The fraternity hopes to raise $11,000 this year.

David was able to come down in order to throw the first pitch and says heâ??s extremely thankful to have such supportive brothers at USC.

This year, along with the softball game, there will be a highway cleanup off of Bluff Rd. from 5-7:00 p.m. Sunday evening. This will be followed by a bonfire and cookout with live music at the end of South Stadium Dr.

Both events are open to the public and tickets may be purchased at the gate or through an SAE brother.
