WACH: Dine at PDQ in April to help end childhood hunger

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH)- In America, one in six children struggles with hunger. Since 2008, thousands of restaurants across the country have raised millions through the Dine Out for No Kid Hungry® program, and PDQ is joining the fight with a goal of raising more than $20,000 for kids struggling with hunger here in America.

This April, PDQ is donating a portion of proceeds from every bowl sold to help raise funds for hungry kids. For every bowl sold, No Kid Hungry will donate two bowls to kids in need. Funds raised support No Kid Hungry’s work to connect children to effective nutrition programs like school breakfast and summer meals and teaching low-income families how to stretch their food budgets and cook healthy, affordable meals.

Guests will also be able to donate directly to No Kid Hungry® by visiting A donation of $1 can provide 10 meals to kids in need. To learn more, please visit
